How we did it.
We were quite clear from the beginning: this website had to be stunning and should unequivocally translate the entire story of Champerché using the best interactive visual cues to immerse the viewer into the company.
We had to design, even in a V1, an eye-catching, instantly visually appealing and interactive website to showcase Champerché to be as revolutionary a company as they are. Furthermore, the experience had to be delightful regardless of the platform, be it a laptop, a tablet or a mobile phone so its responsiveness would be taken into account in our designs.

The impact it had.
Besides the fact that Champerché now has a website that actually looks different from the majority, with its own style and identity (and because you end up having the opportunity to alter the page structure as per your wishes), the strategic decision they took of moving from WordPress to a custom solution laid the foundation for future additions and modules, such as their e-commerce platform, a future mobile application or their last-mile delivery module for transporters. The possibilities are fundamentally endless once you go custom.
Champerché does not depend anymore on WordPress software updates & its security vulnerabilities, nor on any third-party plugin for which they have no hold on crashes. Similarly, they won’t ever face the content & copyright issues anymore, including the royalty-free access to their data for which WordPress does own a right.
Wordpress at the end of the day is a glorified content management system CMS. A larger technology ecosystem has so many different moving parts that stitching together multiple 3rd party technologies to make core functionality work is never a good idea when targeting long term and exponential growth. Bespoke development prepares you for any challenge that comes your way, the technology stack gracefully dancing in sync with whatever path your business decisions take you on. This is the decision Champerché successfully took.
