We are looking for an astute QA Engineer, to help us build the future of IoT and Technology.

You will be reporting to the Product Manager of the company and be shaping up the entire system for scale. You’ll be collaborating intensively with all departments to test every products we build and ensure the best consumer experiences.

Responsibilities

As a QA Tester, you will be responsible for creating and executing a strategy for quality coordination and testing as well as suggesting solutions to identified quality problems.

You will notably be asked to:

• Fully understanding the project scope and project documentation
• Writing test cases based on the scope of work
• Logging the issues within the bug tracking system
• Following up on bugs that are fixed by developers and closing resolved issues
• Re-testing and signing off on bugs
• Test current products and identify deficiencies
• Suggest solutions to identified product problems
• Investigate product quality in order to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction
• Plan, create and manage the overall quality planning strategy
• Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure consistent project execution through test driven development
• Identify the quality assurance process bottlenecks and suggest actions for improvement.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Manual testing.
• Writing and executing manual tests for mobile web apps.
• Clear, proactive communication with fantastic interpersonal skills both written and verbal
• Solid grounding in different levels of testing: Web services/API testing (using Postman), functional testing (both desktop and mobile), regression testing, performance testing.
• A keen eye to quickly find UI bugs related to padding, margin, pixel misalignments, etc.
• Complete understanding of web applications and mobile app related issues.
• Experience with common bug tracking software such as Jira, Azure Visual Studio etc.
• You would have an added advantage if you are able to design and develop automated UI tests with TestProject, Selenium, Appium, Robotium or similar.

Salary

This position can offer, based on the candidate's experience and commitment to our hiring process, an annual package to the employee up to INR 8 Lakhs per annum.

According to his/her performance, the employee will also be offered significant Appraisals every year, regular Bonuses and Stock-Options of the company.

Headquarters

Our offices are located in the historical part of Mumbai, exactly 5 minutes walking-distance from CST Station, an incredibly beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Site and 15 minutes walking-distance from Churchgate Station.
